THE READ: OPEN MIC POETRY ON 2/20

February's Poetry Read is at 5:30pm on Wednesday the 20th on the third floor of Library Learning Resources (LLR).

Share your poetry, journal entries, and song lyrics--any genre and style welcome.  This month your best or worst love poems are especially welcome.

Special guests are "The Razor Babes."  These are "an inspiring group of poetic gypsies" whose members include Joan Day, Joelle Hannah, Maggie Westland, Sandra Knapp, Crystal Salas, Sandra Hunter, and Melissa Grossman.

Multicultural Day Logo Design Winners

Multicultural Day at Moorpark College is Tuesday, April 9th.  Every year students are invited to submit designs to be used on sweatshirts, t-shirts, aprons, and mugs commemorating the day.

This year, the Multicultural Day theme is The "I" in Diversity.  The student designs are currently on display in the Library's display case right inside the front doors.  The winning design was submitted by Jerry Fehlman.  Rachel Grace Curry submitted the 2nd place entry, and Jaciel Vera's design placed 3rd.
