Visit the Library Learning Resources display case (right inside the library's front entrance) to view a collection of artifacts from different cultures in celebration of Moorpark College's Multicultural Day. You'll also see a few books on multicultural topics selected from the Library's collection.
This display is on the west side of the case. The Multicultural Day Logo Design Competition display continues on the east side of the case.
Multicultural Day 2013 is on Tuesday, April 9th.

NEW OPTIONS FOR FINDING LIBRARY RESOURCES!
The Moorpark College Library has implemented Primo--a new tool that offers several options to help students find books, journal articles, and other resources.
You can (1) search for books and other physical materials located in the Moorpark College (MC) Library, (2) search for journal articles in a select group of the Library's databases, (3) do a combined search for MC books and articles (1 and 2 combined), and (4) search for books and other material located in the Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura College libraries.
To use Primo, just hit the "Library Resources" button in the center of the Library's home page. Then use the search field at the top of the next page. The drop down menu allows you to select from the four options. An advanced search capability allows you to combine terms and limit your results by date, type of material, and language.
If you want to search the Online Library Catalog using the traditional method, or if you want to search a specific database, the green buttons on the Library's home page provide access to the catalog and to the alphabetical and subject lists of databases.
