SUMMER LIBRARY DISPLAYS

Two displays are featured in the Library Learning Resources display case, located just inside the front doors.

On the west side:  Two illustrated essays by students in Sandra Hunter's Spring 2016 English M01A class are displayed along with a collection of books on gangs from the Library's collection.  One essay is entitled "Why Kids Join Gangs" and is by Dana Trick.  The other essay is by Juliet Delgado and is entitled "Tough as Painted Nails: The Lives and Troubles of Female Gang Members."  If you would like to read either of these essays, please see a Reference Librarian.

On the east side:  Two posters featuring poems by Ventura poet Phil Taggart are displayed, along with a collection of books by poets that have read their works at the occasional Moorpark College Poetry Read.
