ASK A LIBRARIAN!

Need help doing research for your paper or speech?  There are several ways to contact the Reference Librarians on the Moorpark College Library staff.

You can, of course, find them at the Reference Desk when the Library is open.  Currently, the hours are 8am - 8pm Monday - Thursday and 8am - noon on Friday.

You can also call the Reference Desk during those hours.  The number is 805-378-1472.

Now...you can also email the Reference Desk 24/7 at mcreference@vcccd.edu.  Tell us what class your research is for, any deadlines that you have, and be as specific as possible in telling us what you're looking for.  Every attempt will be made to get back to you within 24 hours--taking the open hours into account.  If your email is sent on Thursday evening, for example, you may not get an answer until Monday.

The Reference Librarians are some of the most helpful people on campus.  Please take advantage of this service.
