STRESSED OUT AS FINALS APPROACH???

Check out the display case just inside the Library Learning Resources doors for books that may help you get through finals and those semester-end final papers.

You'll see a representative sample of books on taking tests, writing papers, and studying.  You'll also find books on meditation, mindfulness, yoga, relaxation, and handling stress.

If prayer is what you need, you'll also see books on a half dozen of the world's major religions.

You'll find many other books on these topics by searching our online library catalog, available on our webpage at www.moorparkcollege.edu/departments/student-services/library.

HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH DISPLAY IN LLR

Each year during the period September 15th - October 15th, the country celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month.  We celebrate the culture, history, and heritage of Spain, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

This four-week period includes the independence anniversaries of Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua.  Columbus Day, or Dia de la Raza, often falls within this period as well.  (This year it's on October 10th.)

The west side of the display case just inside the doors of Library Learning Resources (LLR) features books from the Library's collection covering a number of aspects of Hispanic culture.  Many more books, DVD's, CD's, and other material are available in the Library's physical and electronic collections.  You can access the Library's catalog and eResources at www.moorparkcollege.edu/library.
